Hello there Kuu staff and other fans! I was curious about some things regarding the rozen maiden manga. Does Kuu-scans still translate them? You haven't dropped it because of the shortage on people I hope  If you haven't I would be delighted, but I also wonder how the translations are going?  Do you keep an update on it somewhere by chance? Well. Either way... Keep up the good work! I hope to see more of you!  |

See now that wasn't so hard to ask, right?
Anyways... Full details is basically the translator was sick with the flu when 18's raw came out. He is now working on the TL, but he is also trying to catch up on his school work as well.
We use our free-time to do this thing, if we don't have free-time then we don't do it.

mech(the translator) is a JLPT level 1(if you don't know what that means, look it up.)
He can translate things pretty fast if it doesn't involve some sort of metaphor or anything similar.
However, understanding the Japanese and being able to put them into English isn't the same thing. So... I don't know when Mech will finish.
That's why I'm going to say, it will be finish when its finished.
Don't rush him, things get messy in translations when translations are rushed. (well... More messy)
Example see: most nearly every single shounen manga translations there are on onemanga.

Ello! It's my monthly reply moment! Was wondering if the translator picked up again? I was just done reading the raws of chapter 20 and realized that it just isn't the same without knowing what it says Well, not that it really matters... The're still trapped and the plot is going nowhere. But most annoying of all > Suigintou isn't getting the great attention she deserves... They are finally all together. Imprisoned exctually, but Suigintou just won't highlight at all in the manga...  How depressing |

I know you have lives and I know it you take the time to make your releases the quality you do, and I really appreciate it, but part of me can't help wondering of there's progress being made. A small but annoying and naggy part.
If for some reason the translator can't translate at the moment or there are other circumstances, I wouldn't mind translating a chapter or two as I'd really like to see it scanlated.

^^; I do lurk even if I don't say anything....
Anyway, after thinking, I've decided I don't want to cause any friction in your team. I'll do a chapter but I'll just stick it on MH. That way, it's up to you whether you want it or not (Now that I think about it, it's probably a better idea to just wait for your usual one, cos I know I'd probably be upset if my team used someone else's TLs. I should start thinking before I say stuff).
Anyway, good luck with it! I look forward to seeing more Suigintou

You know, I'm surprised that people still don't know that Unwritten Rule #1 of all fansub/scanlation groups is basically not to ask when something is going to be released. I think we've made it pretty clear we're working on it as best we can and that it'll come out when it's done.
