found out i have an untreated lazy eye and an untreated squint. which both could have been corrected when i was younger, but apparently whoever was my optician when i was little was a moron so now im screwed >.<

....funny the eye itself is actually fine, its a neural deficit, the image from my left eye is disrupted when it reaches the visual cortex. luckily i studied perception last year so i have a rough idea of whats going on. also went hunting through medical journals and found a 'cure' that might work on adults that got developed a few years ago. looks promising but costs a lot of money :/ |

Well havent been to my optician for a long time-was a mistake looking back. I know about that from the begining but somehow my parents werent able to force me to wear glasess and exercise it to get it to normal  . The most pissing about the eye is that i cant read with it. |

basically if you have the right prescription and still cant read with it then it might be, but really id get that checked out just in case its something else, or if its something as simple as having the wrong prescription, i had to be really forceful with my optician once cause he said my current presciption was fine, when it was obvious to me that i couldnt see what i was meant to. so i got a 2nd opinion and i was right  so id defintily go and get a check up and just ask them whats going on |

As far as i know i have a right prescribtion more less. I wear glasses for distance the intresant part is i see sharper edges with the right eye it only bugs me that i cant read with it and that my left eye has more strain cos its more dominant. I also have higher dioptrie on the left eye than on the right.
