I just want something to happen. I've never been a huge fan of genjutsu just cause most of them involve tricking the enemy and just result in a slower fight.

That's only because the ninjas are idiots and don't bother to just stab the enemy when they are in an illusion but instead just stand there laughing.

i dont mind it, its a nice change of pace than just bigger and bigger attacks being launched. and i just assume that they dont stab them cause they have to maintain the illusion, there is evidence of times they didnt have to but im ignoring it Tongue

yeah looks that way. and i use the word 'looks' carefully as we dont know if karrin (i think thats her name) is dead, she might be able to regenerate or he used some funky eye power, who knows? but if he did kill her then yeah i think that means he wont be brought back

I doubt he`d kill karin just to get to danzou. And besides why did he activate his sharingan to end it with a chidori?

i could see him killing karrin and going off the deep end. but your right, the sharingan thing stood out to me as well, seemed unnecessary thats why im wondering if he used a genjutsu or some other sharingan power, since the sharingan seems to be like a big old bag of tricks that kishimoto can draw on whenever he's stuck

@ shadow: yeah i thought so too, always thought the 2nd was really cool looking. my main problem with the chapter was actually the flashback, you had the 2nd, the 3rd, danzo and like 3 others and they couldnt take out 20 ninjas? come on! pain took out konoha, orochimaru set up a country and we're meant to believe that 20 ninjas were such a threat that they had to sacrifice the 2nd in order to survive?

yeah naruto's been pretty good of late, pretty much the pain vs naruto fight onwards really. bleach has felt a little hollow (excuse the pun)

one piece for me is miles ahead of both though in terms of an engrossing story arc right now ^^

I haven't read it, its way to long for me to just sit down and start reading in an hour, I'd have to set aside a day or something lol. Anyone else also love the fact that all he did was cut a hole through the floor? It goes back to when the show wasn't all stupid and about crazy techniques and was about actual smarts (sasuke/naruto vs kabuto) or simplicity.

Prediction
Sasuke - I don't need anyone, I'm on a boat
Sakura- Can I ride?
Sasuke- only in a bikini
*Naruto bursts in*
Naruto- I'm the boss
Sasuke- go away idiot
Naruto- I'm the boss
